[Bug 56160] IM labels are inconsistent in the Language Settings panel
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56160 Siebrand Mazeland changed: What|Removed |Added Status|PATCH_TO_REVIEW |NEW --- Comment #8 from Siebrand Mazeland --- I think this indicates that we still use strings from different sources. Sometimes it comes from the IME definition file (for example rules/am/am-transliteration.js), sometimes from jquery.ime.inputmethods.js. I think it should ALWAYS come from the latter (jquery.ime.inputmethods.js). The main reason is that strings from the IME definition files are only available in one language, while a single input method can be used under different language codes and with different descriptions (as is done for nn-tildeforms, for example). My guess is that some key is still being used from the IME definition file (for example amTransliteration.name), instead of from jquery.ime.inputmethods.js ($.ime.sources.am-transliteration.name) (or however the notation in JavaScript is supposed to be). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. For deleted pages, there is additionally also the ability to browse them (through Special:Undelete), a feature which lacks completely for revdel. It will take us a matter of days to get SSL certs and we can start that process now, but until the other steps are taken there's no major point in doing so. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
[Bug 56271] Flow: links in Echo notifications should take you to the specific post
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56271 Maryana Pinchuk changed: What|Removed |Added CC||mpinc...@wikimedia.org --- Comment #3 from Maryana Pinchuk --- Just to clarify a bit, the primary target of a Flow reply notification ("Foo replied to your *post*", where *post* is a link) currently takes you to the post in isolation. This shouldn't happen except as a non-JS fallback. Both the primary target (*post*) and secondary target (the whole notification area) on these notifications should: * take you to the topic and scroll you down to the post * highlight the post ... e.g., the current permalink behavior. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 46183] Populate archive.ar_len on all Wikimedia wikis
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46183 --- Comment #2 from MZMcBride --- Rob L.: I don't believe this bug requires a database schema change or the involvement of a DBA. I believe this is simply a matter of running the relevant maintenance script. [Bug 56330] New: VisualEditor: Do mass DM round trip testing with Wikipedia content
https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56330 Web browser: --- Bug ID: 56330 Summary: VisualEditor: Do mass DM round trip testing with Wikipedia content Product: VisualEditor Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: Data Model Assignee: roan.katt...@gmail.com Reporter: roan.katt...@gmail.com CC: jforres...@wikimedia.org, roan.katt...@gmail.com, tpars...@wikimedia.org Classification: Unclassified Mobile Platform: --- Like, Parsoid's round-trip testing, we should do DM round-trip testing with content from Wikipedia. dirtydiffbot does this to some extent, but it tests the Parsoid output rather than the DM output and it uses the UI, which is hacky. We should have a proper service that just tests the DM HTML output is clean, which requires a test runner for that purpose in VE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Wikibugs-l mailing list Wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikibugs-l
