ressources. Documentation about caching duration should be clearly displayed.

some of these - e.g. those on the earlier Zika outbreaks - may be
useful for training the models.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  With the switch to extended default prefixes, the need to specify a lot of 
prefixes each time has been removed. However, seeing the prefixes has also an 
informational function, e.g. 
:
  
  > Needing to make sure prefixes are there had helped me learn more about the 
data structure. Even now it can help when building queries. Maybe they could go 
somewhere on the right side of the screen, at least for people who don't 
de-activate their display.
  
  So we need to figure out some way for people to be able to see the prefixes 
even if they don't have to be part of the query. Maybe as some kind of popup or 
displayed separately.

  One thing I think that Graphs have and Lua does not (AFAIK) is intermediate 
caching layer (one that caches the actual picture). That's why I'm kind of OK 
with enabling it first. If we want it in Lua, then we should figure out

Obviously, but "much lower" from 3.2B is probably something like 50M-300M,
not 0.1M.

shows a "Unknown prefix '^wdt:'" message. If a user types "?p

using autocomplete replaces the entire path, including the 
"wdt:https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/P31;. Similarly, the "|" , "(", and "!"

  Side note: Is anyone else getting a little concerned that Graphs are racing 
ahead of the rest of Mediawiki? Graphs being able to directly access the API 
and Wikidata query results... We can't even do those things from Lua or 
templates yet. At this rate, people are going to start writing Vega blocks to 
just show bits of plain text pretty soon. I don't mean to complain about these 
great new features, but this is probably going to result in some weird hacks 
being thrown around.

[Wikidata] Primary sources tool (was: Re: Freebase to Wikidata: Results from Tpt internship)

FYI, the primary sources tool is not dead: besides Freebase, it will 
also cater for other datasets.

The StrepHit team will take care of it in the next few months, as per 
one of the project goals [1].
The code repository is owned by Google, and the StrepHit team will 
collaborate with the maintainers via the standard pull 
request/review/merge process.

I'm going to assume that the lack of answer to this question over the last
four months, the lack of updates on the project, and the fact no one is
even bothering to respond to issues
  means that this project
is dead and abandoned.  That's pretty sad. For an internship, it sounds
like a cool project and a decent result. As an actual serious attempt to
make productive use of the Freebase data, it's a weak, half-hearted effort
by Google.

  I think Smalyshev didn't use the word "currently" clearly in this sentence. 
Maybe he means "the proposal as currently envisioned". But he can't mean the 
current version of WikiData, because the current version has no Julian to 
Gregorian conversion software, and quite a few dates in the database are 
currently stored in the Julian calendar.
  
  A different question: what programming language would the future Julian to 
Gregorian routine be written in. Maybe I can find something, or translate 
something.
