TASK DESCRIPTION
  If the `PropertyTermStore` implementation will live in Wikibase, and Wikibase 
isn’t supposed to know about mediawiki-term-store’s internals 
(`wbt_term_in_lang` etc.), then I think mediawiki-term-store needs to offer 
some service that turns term IDs back into terms, i. e. the inverse of 
`TermIdsAcquirer`.

 and select the illative version of the language 
(//nuõrttsääʹmǩiõʹlle//) and convert it to the nominative form 
(//nuõrttsääʹmǩiõll//). As can been seen from the Skolt pages, both 
//nuõrttsääʹmǩiõll// and //sääʹmǩiõll// are in use, but the longer version is 
used to differentiate between the different Saami languages.

  Ok, thanks.
  
  If I had realized the issues with the Romani languages last week already, it 
could have been as simple as going to the Department of Linguistics in Prague 

 and asking for help, but they weren't around on the weekend.
  
  I'll contact people later on this week about these languages.

  I didn't //remove// any, but I had questions about the autonyms. See my 
comments at https://github.com/wikimedia/language-data/pull/53
  
  Again, I don't really want to block it just because of the autonyms. I 
understand that these are very small, dead, or poorly documented languages and 
sources about them are difficult to find. However, if entering information 
about them into Wikidata or translating into them in translatewiki is realistic 
and useful, then it should also be possible to find translators or academic who 
can suggest an autonym. If it's definitely impossible to find a true autonym as 
a name of the language in the language itself, it should be some kind of a 
compromise title that is most useful for the linguists who will work with it.

  Seems more likely it's a data input issue than a query issue @matej_suchanek, 
given that WDQS doesn't exhibit the same sort of error for analagous wdtn:, 
such as wdtn:P244  (Library of Congress 
authority ID) - see for instance https://w.wiki/48X

  I've retracted the patch to the language data on GitHub. There is too much 
debate on autonyms, and there is not the right place. All proposed autonyms 
here should first be fully sourced and approved by @Nikerabbit or @Amire80 
before I'll create a patch.

  So, after turning off php7 this morning we saw no modification in the rate of 
requests to mc1033.
  
  It seems extremely probable that the switch of larger wikis to .wmf3 is what 
caused this regression.

  Good point. I'm not sure I'm the right person to make such a summary. Perhaps 
@Charlie_WMDE and @Jakob_WMDE are more prepared to do so? In any case, in my 
opinion the main properties that need to be available are:
  
  - Construction of the query in a sequence that maps to the user's natural 
thought process, rather than to the SPARQL syntax (so yeah, starting with the 
first item to be searched rather than with properties, for example)
  - Easy access to custom helpers for common query requirements (such as "all 
instances and subclasses", "all locations and sublocations", etc.)
  - Access to advanced features (e.g. to combine queries with UNION, MINUS, 
etc.) in a way that doesn't clutter the interface (e.g. collapsed by default)
  - Usage of common terms rather than SPARQL-specific jargon
  - Visibility of human-readable labels as the primary way to identify query 
elements, but with the underlying QIDs/PIDs also available (e.g. as text with a 
small font, or tooltips, etc.)
  - All UI elements featuring help text in tooltips/popups or otherwise.
  
  These are mostly from the top of my head. I'll add more items if I think of 
more.

  @Lydia_Pintscher agreed. The reason I wanted these tools to be live was to 
allow them to be experimented on, and allow identifying the good design choices 
and UX patterns, to help build the default builder. T223852 
 was about precisely identifying 
these tools and listing them in an accessible location, and T223853 
 was about doing some preliminary UX 
testing work (it can be reopened if there are plans to expand that work further 
— /cc @Charlie_WMDE).

SpecialHomepage may have caused an increase in uncached Varnish traffic (e.g. 
anons starting sessions via edits or by viewing user sign-up page), or some 
other very chatty or large-value use of Memcached or Redis storage?
  
  The traffic to SpecialHomepage is very, very low (50% of newly registered 
users are added to experiment group on two wikis) so I think we can rule that 
out.
  
  I’ll be interested to see the effect of increasing the APC shm size, though.
