We have two options: 1. schema change on the wb_items_per_site table to add a badge column (null by default). 2. add a new table that can be joined to the ips_row_id column of wb_items_per_site, containing ips_row_id + badge id with option 1, in most cases, the value would be null and maybe we want to go with option 2 to keep wb_items_per_site smaller, or maybe the impact isn't too excessive and option 1 would be ok. No standards nor responsibilities are set up on how high-level documentation should be maintained and, in particular, who is responsible for it. In the past, this anarchistic model proofed to be inefficient as hardly anybody cared about the high-level documentation. As documentation should not be compiled superficially, it would benefit from dedicated responsibility. Wording, expressing concepts and maintaining diagrams should not be left up to every single developer as that is triggers carelessness, incomprehensibility and even conflicts. In the same sense, the responsibility for formulating messages, in general, should be clarified as well as it is obvious that messages compiled from the technical perspective of developers may not result in suitable results regarding the wording of user interface messages. TASK DESCRIPTION we use italics to format 'no value' and 'some value', and for language fallback indictor text, among other things. italics do not work well nor are suitable for all languages.
