Mike_Peel added a comment. Having a separate box for Commons would make it a lot clearer that commons links can be added in the same way that other sister sites can be. It would be nice if we could include two links, one to the page and one to the category, where relevant. There may also be relevant sub-categories (e.g., categories for the British Museum; the outside of the British Museum; the inside of it; and so forth), although I'm not sure how well that would work in practice. Which other wikis are included in the 'other' category? Would something like Other Wikimedia projects work, or are there non-Wikimedia projects that are also included? (BTW, for most single-language speakers, the benefits of having different sites for Wikivoyage etc. aren't too obvious, until you realise that they're intended mostly for inter-language links!) We don't have any really great cli tools for managing cdb files (CRUD operations) and the structure of the CDB file for this is un/under documented. If we had a clear description of how to add a site to the cache and a cli tool for querying and manipulating the CDB file it would be relatively easy to wire that into the `::mediawiki::wiki` puppet resource. Reguyla added a comment. @Daniel, I don't really have a suggestion for renaming the box from Other wiki's but when I think of Other wiki's I think of Shoutwiki and Wikia, not other WMF projects. Maybe I'm the only one, but that seems rather confusing to me. Also, the argument that Commons is a singleton project, to me, doesn't really apply. Commons, by its very design was made so that all the projects, regardless of language, could link to its content. It wouldn't make sense for it to by split up by language because that would defeat its purpose. But I don't think that should be used as an argument to treat it as though its not a real WMF project just because its one of about three that are multilingual and not split up. The horizontal dimensions of the [[en:Middlebury to Her Soldiers (sculpture)]] monument appears to be about 3 m. But if I were the one who had to measure the location, my recreation-grade GPS unit would only be accurate to about a 30 m radius. So precision should be separate from horizontal size, and we should not conflate them. When precision is understood as the uncertainty in measuring latitude and longitude, it makes perfect sense that the uncertainty in the location of the monument is ±0.0001° (about 11 m in the north-south direction or 8 m in the east-west direction). Of course, since there is only one value available for precision, the editor who enters it will have to determine the greatest angular uncertainty, depending on the method for finding the position, and enter it. It appears it's actually using the current day and current month, because it
now parses them as the 7th of July.
Out of curiosity, I tried checking out a copy of
https://github.com/DataValues/Time (I assume that's the right place to be
looking) and adding a couple of tests to see what happens and got:
1) ValueParsers\Test\PhpDateTimeParserTest::testParseWithValidInputs with

ValueParsers\ParseException: DateTime::__construct(): Failed to parse time
string (2009.01.09) at position 5 (0): Double time specification
and
1) ValueParsers\Test\PhpDateTimeParserTest::testParseWithValidInputs with
data set #20 ('1999 1 2', +1999-01-02T00:00:00Z)
testing equals():
