Indeed, typing the code it works. So, the question becomes, is it possible to enable the choice from the drop down list? [Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Commented On] T145522: [feature request] how to clean up redirects in sitelinks

2017-02-05 Thread 2015.ww
2015.ww added a comment.
Could someone kindly show a case -- or two :) -- of how such links cause a problem?
For example... looking at flautist / flûtist / fløjtenist (Q12902372) with an article e.g. at Fløjtenist but some other links, such as in enwiki, redirecting to the instrument page -- vs the instrument, flute (Q11405) but also recorder (Q187851), etc. etc. ... so aren't such additional links in fact rather helpful ?

Thanks much.TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T145522EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: matej_suchanek, 2015.wwCc: 2015.ww, TomT0m, Lydia_Pintscher, Alphos, Aklapper, Esc3300, D3r1ck01, Izno, Wikidata-bugs, aude, Mbch331___

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Created] T157231: Provide a way to list edits affecting a specific query

2017-02-05 Thread Bugreporter
Bugreporter created this task.Bugreporter added projects: Wikidata, Wikidata-Query-Service.Herald added a subscriber: Aklapper.Herald added a project: Discovery.
TASK DESCRIPTIONIf a list is generated manually, it's easy to track changes of the list by "view history" function. But if the list is generated automatically, it's not easy to do so.

If there were only triple additions (not removals), it's easy to track changes in this way:

Create a new table listing all RDF triples and the revision which some triple is added.
When querying edits affecting a specific query, we may found all related triples and related revisions. Then we remove any duplicate revisions and sort the list of revisions by date. We got the result we needed.

Open question:

How to deal with triple removals? Should we create a new table for all former triples? and how to query them?
How to integrate it and traditional article history?

EDIT DETAILS...I suspect that it happens because the function that adds this message uses getPageLanguage, while it should use the user language, but I didn't test too deeply.

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Edited] T74815: [Task] Add Lua function to get Wikibase entity by site link (title)

Dvorapa edited the task description. (Show Details)
EDIT DETAILS...On **cswiki** articles translated from other language wikis are marked by Translated template (with source wiki, article and revision parameters filled in). The template could detect (using Module:Wikidata), whether the article is connected with that source article and categorize it if not. But if that source article is connected with a different article, it is false positive there (could be categorized too, but in a different maintenance category). I can not single out these false positives, because even if I canI can not find out (using Lua function in Module:Wikidata) the Q-id for a given wiki:pageTASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T74815EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: DvorapaCc: srishakatux, Tpt, Jarekt, Wesalius, Zppix, czar, Strainu, Dvorapa, Base, Lucie, Pasleim, SJu, Bene, Herzi.Pinki, Mbch331, Daniel_Mietchen, Aklapper, Edgars2007, matej_suchanek, Aubrey, Accurimbono, ValterVB, Nemo_bis, Yair_rand, Liuxinyu970226, Candalua, Ricordisamoa, Wikidata-bugs, JulesWinnfield-hu, Lydia_Pintscher, hoo, SamanthaNguyen, D3r1ck01, Izno, aude, Osnard, RandomDSdevel, He7d3r, Jdforrester-WMF, Ladsgroup, Jay8g, Tgr___

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] [Retitled] T74815: [Task] Add Lua function to get Wikibase entity by site link (title)

Tgr changed the title from "[Task] Add mw.wikibase.getEntityObject by site link (title) Lua function" to "[Task] Add Lua function to get Wikibase entity by site link (title)".Tgr edited the task description. (Show Details)
EDIT DETAILSPlease add a Lua function similar to mw.wikibase.getEntityObject by site link (title) Lua function for getting an entity by site link (title), just like Special:ItemByTitle or the wbgetentities API module with titles parameter. It would be nice with and without language code or site code.
