TASK DESCRIPTION
  Hi, when are used some symbols, like "=" and "&", to fill any external-id on 
Wikidata, it's automatically convert to URL encode, like "%3D" and "%26", what 
makes the URL breaks. An example of this can be seen here 
, on The Reptile Database ID field. 
Despite this, that bug doesn't occur on Wikipedia, where the property are 
transcluded, and the URL works normally. The discuss about that could be read 
here . 
I believe that could be fixed.

  I wonder does UrlShortener require login? If yes, we'd have to add OAuth 
setup to WDQS GUI I presume for this URL shortener - which means, the code 
needs to become way smarter with regard to how URL shorteners work, because 
some may require login and some not.

  Our approach here will be to use an approx. 1M sized sample of WD items to 
produce the identifier x identifier Jaccard distance matrix
  
  - Ratio:
- the dataset as produced in Spark has 250M rows x two columns 
(item-identifier pairs);
- the desired binary contingency matrix to compute the Jaccard distances is 
of approx. dimesion 26M x 1000K+;
- due to internal constraints, Spark `stat.crosstab()` cannot produce a 
binary contingency matrix that we need to compute the Jaccard distances;
- while R {data.table} can manage the dataset, it still cannot produce the 
desired contingency matrix;
- moreover, even if could have the contingency matrix produced in an 
efficient manner, it is questionable what procedure could deliver the Jaccard 
distances efficiently.
  
  The results of the following experiment testify that we can safely 
proceed with sampling:
  
  - Take 10 random samples from the ~250M items x identifiers pairs
  - by sampling identifiers proportionally (i.e. compute p(identifier), weight 
the identifier sample appropriately)
  - and including one observation for each identifier with p = 0 (due to 
rounding, not due to the absence of the identifier);
  - for each sample, produce a binary contingency matrix;
  - from each contingency matrix compute all pair-wise identifier-identifier 
Jaccard distances, store as vector;
  - compute Pearson correlation coefficients between the distance vectors 
obtained from 10 random samples.
  
  Here's the correlation matrix; obviously, ~1M sized proportional random 
samples of item-property pairs are quite representative of the approx. ~26M 
item-property pairs dataset:

  On certain Wikidata items, for example Spotify (Q689141) 
, I am unable to edit anything through 
the default JavaScript interface. All of the remaining "edit" links go to the 
non-JavaScript pages (e.g. `Special:SetLabelDescriptionAliases/Q689141/en-gb`), 
suggesting that the script is failing to load. I am still able to make edits 
through other means.
  
  I have tried clearing my cache, purging the item, viewing the pages in both 
Vector and Timeless, clearing my common.js and clearing my global.js. The issue 
occurs in both Firefox and Safari. However, on Google Search (Q9366) 
 (which, unlike the Spotify item, is not 
protected), the issue occurs //only// when I'm logged in. (The logged-out 
interface is fine for both items, since non-autoconfirmed editors wouldn't be 
able to edit the Spotify item anyway.)
