  The code added as part of T198946: Add Schema property 'sameAs' pointing to 
Wikidata entries  (the Go Fish SEO 
work) in I02bc43f16cc53 
. 
Loads the whole item of in client wikis (like English Wikipedia) in every page 
view request (like opening article of Alan Turing makes it load the whole item 
of Q2751). It even bypasses ParserCache (Tested using XHGui 
).
 FlameGraphs  
say it consumes 13% resources of all requests involving Wikibase (most 
requests) and I'm pretty sure it puts a heavy load on memcached and ES.
  
  The offending code is in 
`Wikibase\Client\Hooks\SkinAfterBottomScriptsHandler::createSchemaElement` 
(being called from `Wikibase\Client\ClientHooks::onSkinAfterBottomScripts`)

  @thiemowmde thank you for your prompt reply. I am not confident enough to 
self-merge this. The interplay of PHP and JS code is too frightening to me. If 
it was just a PHP or JS code I might have a different opinion, but in this 
case, I think self-merging is not an option.

  I know this is frustrating. WMDE staff is happy to help, but is currently not 
in a position to invest substantial resources into the Math extension. 
According to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Developers/Maintainers the owner of 
the extension is the WMF editing team (lead by @Esanders), as well as @TheDJ 
and you. My personal opinion: When there aren't any objections from Ed or their 
team, this might be one of the rare situations where it's fine to self-merge 
your own patch. 路‍♂️

here. Is there anything I can do to get the patch merged? I think it is ok in 
its current form. Also for the ResourceLoader question, I got additional 
feedback by @awight

the module will also be used to select the qid in the visual editor I think 
merging those two modules would not be desirable (if it was technically 
possible).
  Any feedback would be highly appreciated. I am not afraid of additional 
effort. I just don't know what else to do to get this little inconvenience 
fixed.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  Steps to Reproduce:
  
  Open/activate our Dropdown or Lookup (or any component using the OptionsMenu) 
in a responsive viewport. Increase the number of characters of one the options 
to make the menu become wider as it wraps its content.
  
  Actual Results:

  I understand the motivation (thanks to the fact that Nikki's tasks are much 
more interesting and better described than mine), :-)  but I believe we should 
strive to contain the complexity of the constraint system and, if possible, 
reduce the current complexity, which is quite high. The need that the example 
represents might not be recurrent and, for that case, I think we could have two 
Properties, one for Items and one for Forms, to better adjust the constraints 
(not only the one we're commenting on) and statements of each of them to their 
cases of use. I wouldn't find it a big problem if there were some similar 
statements on two different Properties, as they aren't expected to change 
frequently and they'll be used in different namespaces (so both shouldn't 
appear together or be read by the same software agents that might know about 
one Property but not about the other). Please don't hate me for this (hate me 
for something else…).
