  Following metrics were added to the draft dashboard 
.
  
  - Number (%) of files with at least one structured data element
  - Number  of files with license
  - Number  of files with depicts
  - Number  of files with captions (en vs. non-en vs. both)
  
  The metrics are from `commons_entity` table. We have the data back to Dec 
2021.

everything works nicely! I agree that the inverse order of the label and alias

  I think that would be fine. It is the intended layout anyways. I myself use 
New Vector and I know that we should probably make other permanent UI changes, 
say we don't want the sitelinks to be present on the sidebar.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  Currently, we have a list of `WikibaseLexemeTermLanguages` (array of language 
codes) in the synthetic `special/settings.json` file of the 
`wikibase.lexeme.special.NewLexemeAlpha` module. We want to replace that with a 
mapping (object) from language code to language name (in the interface 
language); that could also be in `settings.json`, or in a separate file. 
(However, we should avoid putting it into a separate module, as each separate 
module increases the size of the startup module loaded with every request.)
  
  Since module contents are evaluated each time the startup module is loaded 
(to calculate the module hashes), and loading language names can be expensive, 
we should cache this information a bit – `SitesModule` in Wikibase does a 
similar thing. (An alternative approach would be to extend 
`ResourceLoaderModule` and extend `getDefinitionSummary()` to not include the 
language code contents, but I think it’s better to cache the contents like 
`SitesModule` does.)
  
  Once the mapping is available in ResourceLoader, make 
`SpecialNewLexemeAlpha.js` pass it into `init()`.

  - We know that there is a mapping between language codes and language names. 
This mapping happens through the `WikibaseLexemeLanguageNameLookup` service.
  - For a NoJS implementation this list can remain a regular dropdown 
(@Erdinc_Ciftci_WMDE can you confirm?)
  - For the JS implementation, we will pass the language code mappings in 
through the `init` function via a specialized RL module constructing a JSON 
output of language code to language name, instead of the array of language 
codes.
  - This approach does require us to send the list twice and might have 
performance impact. However, we will profile the page load once we have 
launched the new special page and determine the best optimization at a later 
date [Tech debt task TBD].
  - We will enable server side caching for the RL module definition, in order 
to speed up the response time and prevent the list from being constructed on 
each request. Example: SitesModule.php 
.
  - "Matching looks at each word in the list, i.e. Tunisian Arabic would 
display if arabic entered" → This refers only to substring from the beginning 
of each word. i.e. looking for "rab" will not produce "Tunisian Arabic".

  @Visx I'm not a tech person myself, so I would need help with this. 
  the project is a tutorial for the Wikidata Query Service. It's built as a 
WordPress site. Are the privacy violations related to the WordPress platform 
itself, something else.
  I need to understand where the problem lies, and whether the guy who 
originally built the site can solve it, or we need someone else.
  
  any additional info is much appreciated.

  Can the password feature on the SDCQC please, please, please, please pretty 
please be removed/disabled? The SDCQC is an epic feature, but almost useless 
thanks to the requirement to log in. Basically, Commons remains a data silo on 
its own. 
  I keep running into issues where I am building a query that I want to share, 
reuse in a jupyter notebook or run a federated query from Wikidata. The 
decision to Oauth here is really a poor design choice.
