  The property is checked in `userWasLastToEdit()` in the same class.
  
  I guess we can just add an array mapping revision ID to user name to 
`MockRepository`? (If I understand the class correctly, it completely bypasses 
any real MediaWiki page/revision store, so we have to store the information 
somewhere.)

  The affected group is anyone who uses the `wbcontentlanguages` API 
(action=query&meta=wbcontentlanguages 
). The 
announcement would be that, starting this week, the language name or autonym 
can no longer be null (if no better name is known, they fall back to the 
language code); users can remove any special code they have to handle `null` 
autonyms or language names. (On Wikidata, this only affects autonyms; language 
names should be known for all languages, thanks to the cldr extension.)

  That reminds me of T268135  – it 
looks like it’s not //quite// the same thing (that task was about a 
wikibasePushed//Move//ToRepo dynamic property), but I suspect it’s related, and 
it’s possible the dynamic property can just be removed entirely. (But this 
needs a bit more investigation. I just saw this task and wanted to quickly 
leave a pointer to the other one I remembered.)

  @Arian_Bozorg  If an anonymous user (or any other user without the AddLinks 
gadget) clicks on `Links hinzufügen` on a page that is not already connected to 
a Wikidata item (for example, a redirect like 
https://de.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Landeshauptstadt_Dresden&redirect=no),
 they would be directed to 
https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:NewItem?site=dewiki&page=Landeshauptstadt+Dresden.
 There, they could then set the correct redirect badge, or, if it's not a 
redirect, another necessary badge. For users with the AddLinks gadget, there is 
a similar task (T324419 ) which I 
plan to tackle after this one.

  @aliu does this happen in safe mode? Vector 2022 shouldn't be loading 
Opensearch (the mediawiki.searchSuggest module) under any circumstances. I 
can't replicate this myself on English Wikipedia

  Not sure which team that is, Wikibase is owned by WMDE and the past 
prop=description projects were one-offs. (It seems fairly easy though. If 
someone wants to try their hand at fixing it, they probably just need to add 
some variant handling to the language logic here 
.)

  I'm not sure this is correct. I've just run into this in T353199: 
prop=description does not respect language variants properly 
 which I think is caused by using 
`Title::getPageLanguage()` where `Title::getPageViewLanguage()` should have 
been used. Architecturally that method is terrible - it pretends that the 
language is derived from the title, when in reality it can depend on any number 
of things including site configuration, page configuration, user preferences, 
URL parameters or request headers (although to a lesser extent this is true of 
`Title::getPageLanguage()` as well) but functionally it's often going to be 
more correct.
  
  (I guess it depends on your definition of "pageview perspective", but if you 
include anything that's connected to a web request then you are left with very 
little that can actually be deprecated.)
  
  I think the more correct approach would be some kind of service that takes a 
title and a request context (or user identity + WebRequest) and looks up the 
language, so that the dependencies are made explicit.
