  @bd808 Google requires to pay for using his Maps externally (i.e. in 
Toolforge tools). But it provides a free access for foundations, who ask for 
that. Could we somehow on behalf of WMF ask Google (through their provided 
contact form for these cases) for this access?

  Note: As @Xqt pointed out Retry-After currently just serves "5" all the time 
maxlag goes over 5, so Pywikibot doen't use it (as it looks had-coded to 5) and 
rather calculates its own Retry-After based on current maxlag and amount of 
attempts so far instead.

  The issue is that the button is not at the bottom, actually it is above 
sitelinks and above external identificators. It is even hard to find it. I

  `frame:callParserFunction("int","lang")` is the same as `{{int:Lang}}`. It is 
just a workaround, created by admins on projects which need this functionality. 
On other projects where admins did not create int:Lang message map none of 
these workarounds work.

  Yes, but in my opinion this behavior is not much polite and ethical to 
servers too. And to me it seems it is also dishonest to other bots in an 
indirect way: Bots rush-saving edits in a rate like 1 per second or worse make 
Query Service Updater lag much sooner/worse than bots respecting 5+ s 
putthrottle.

expectations about the api (any of it)- and timing out and erroring quickly 
rather than waiting in case of lag for non-interactive tests.
  
  Yeah, there are two options: either make them fail earlier, or make them not 
erroring the whole test suite because of their inresponsiveness. Or both...

  They are obviously testing Pywikibot functions against several wikiproject 
APIs. WD API is usually asked for simple things like some maintenance 
category/template fro some language. Which takes 300s+ to response last weeks 
randomly and today the whole day.

  (please keep in mind I don't understand the differences, all I understand is 
that API lag is outrageously high, probably because WDQS lag is high as those 
two were connected 2 months ago and since then all our tests are sometimes 
failing with 300s timeouts or 50min timeouts, which are two default timeouts 
for Pywikibot tests)

  Per T221774 <https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T221774> WDQS lag is part of 
WD API maxlag. Thus If WDQS lag is high, API maxlag is also high, which makes 
Pywikibot tests (calling WD API all the time) timeout as API maxlag has been 
repeatedly declared to always be <5s by several people in the past. I'm not 
sure, how to solve the issue as I don't know, where should I look for current 
API maxlag promises. Where have you found WDQS lag promises?

  Perhaps try WikidataIntegrator instead of Pywikibot (if it offers the same 
functionality you need). I'm unsure what is its current state of development, 
so make sure you don't throw away your original code. A performance comparison 
of the two libraries from your case would be interesting.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  Some Czech community users recently discussed the link "add statement" is 
usually hidden under too many statements and above too many identifiers, that 
it is not easy to find it. Creating a user script and share it between us is a 
really easy job to do, but I think Wikidata developers should consider to fix 
this UI flaw upstream, either by changing it inside Wikidatasource or by 
providing a gadget.

  **Steps to reproduce**
  
  1. Create an item on Wikidata for a gadget shared across numerous projects
  2. Add gadget pages into it
  
  **Expected behavior**
  I would expect the interwiki be visible on a gadget page. I understand the 
gadget are in the MediaWiki namespace currently, which is not operated by 
Wikidata interwiki, but there should be an exception for Gadgets, where this 
would really helpful. You don't want to maintain a list of interwiki links on 
each MediaWiki project, which uses the copy of the original gadget code.

`ini_set("session.cookie_httponly", 1);` and also wrap the `$page` into 
`htmlSpecialChars($page, ENT_QUOTES)` function to prevent any type of XSS I know

  Ah, it seems php was not a good choice as you need to fix certain php 
parameters on. I created my version of the tool, which unfortunately doesn't 
work too as Google wants to pay for every use of its new API. Anyway I don't 
know if this suffers the same XSS problem as wp-world tool, but you can use my

On Czech Wikipedia (cswiki) there is not Lua error in mw.wikibase.entity.lua at line 34: The entity data must be a table obtained via mw.wikibase.getEntityObject, but instead there is an error Lua error in mw.wikibase.entity.lua at line 37: data.schemaVersion must be a number. got nil instead.. The bug is on cca 200 pages, you can see their list here. On some Wikipedias, portals are honoured by "featured portal" badge and on Wikidata they get gold star. But on other Wikipedias they are honoured by "good article" badge and on Wikidata they get silver star. But per my understanding these two approaches are equivalent and therefore they should get the same color of a star on Wikidata. I see two solutions to this task:


Change color of featured portal star to silver (and make these two approaches interchangeable)
Convert all honoured portals on Wikidata to one system ("good article" or "featured portal")

TASK DESCRIPTIONSome Wikipedias don't support featured portal barnstar, portals here are marked with good article barnstar. Featured portals are on the same (basic) level as good article, there is no higher level (more-featured portal like best article), but they are marked with a different color. On Wikidata it looks like this:

EDIT DETAILS...On **cswiki** articles translated from other language wikis are marked by Translated template (with source wiki, article and revision parameters filled in). The template could detect (using Module:Wikidata), whether the article is connected with that source article and categorize it if not. But if that source article is connected with a different article, it is false positive there (could be categorized too, but in a different maintenance category).
