Current plan is: - Adapt extensions/Wikibase/repo/maintenance/rebuildItemsPerSite.php to take a list of items to rebuild - Generate list of items that were touched between the time the tables are completely restored (some point in the future) and 2300UTC 2020-04-06 - Run maintenance script We are not worried about creating duplicates entries for a single item-site combination in this table (i.e. two sitelinks to one wiki for one item) that might cause problems because we already have had true duplicates in the past. c.f. https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:True_duplicates There is also an unique index across siteid and page so we don't worry about a given page being linked to two items. It appears that the only two places that this CachingFallbackLabelDescriptionLookup is used are here in the Lua Code and in \Wikibase\Lib\Formatters\ItemPropertyIdHtmlLinkFormatter I'm trying to understand this but it appears to be almost a clone of \Wikibase\Lib\Formatters\LabelsProviderEntityIdHtmlLinkFormatter. It might therefore be possible to remove all usages of CachingFallbackLabelDescriptionLookup and replace them with the "normal" LabelDescriptionLookup from the services that are used everywhere else.
