Jan_Dittrich added projects: Wikimedia-Hackathon-2017, Wikidata, Documentation.

TASK DESCRIPTION

Story: As a writer of documentation, I easily forget (or are unsure about) what kind of person will read the documentation

Problem: We don’t have any help in place to clarify the target readers and/or to make oneself aware of it.

Possible Solutions: Create some personas/reader profiles. We could take existing Wikidata Personas, however, they are focused on software, not documentation. Also, people might want to be part of creating the personas themselves (without original research it is more a proto-persona, but anyway). Suggestion:

  • Take Wikidata personas as example
  • Do a 30min Persona creation session
  • Define for the docs to be written which personas would need to use them
