I appreciate this and the extraordinary photos of Ukrainian heritage that
came out of past years' contests, one of the fruits of which is sitting on
my wall.

Re: [Wiki Loves Monuments] Special prize for St. James Way in 2015

Hi Santiago, what a charming idea. It would be wonderful if WLM could help
introduce some of these local associations to one another. Sam

Hello. Last year, Wikimedia Spain had a collaboration with an association
of friends of the French St. James Way. That partner provided books as
prizes for a special category of WLM contest.[1] It seems that this year
they will be partners too, and we could look for more different partners
 for that.

Maybe there could be a special prize for St. James Way at an international
level, because St. James Way is present in different European countries.
For example, the Way is present also in England, Austria, Germany, Czech
Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy or Portugal. Besides, the
Way in Spain and France is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage
Site.[2][3] This is only an idea, so, please feel free to say your
 opinion.

Last week we run an edit-a-thon in Jaca about the Fench St. James Way in
Aragon, and during WMCON, I could talk with Anne-Laure Prévost, of
Wikimedia France, about starting a project related with this.

Re: [Wiki Loves Monuments] New Program Evaluation report: Wiki Loves Monuments

 Hi everyone!

I posted the latest in the string of program evaluation reports on Meta
 today, on Wiki Loves Monuments:
 https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Programs:Evaluation_portal/Library/WLM

 Highlights of the report include:
 * About 17% of the images uploaded through Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 are
 in use on our projects.
 * The majority of Wiki Loves Monuments participants are new users;
however, the survival rate of new users is low (1.7% of the 2012
participants made at least one edit and 1.4% uploaded at least one new file
to Commons six months after the event).
 * Half of the existing editors who participated in Wiki Loves Monuments
2012 also participated in Wiki Loves Monuments 2013, with new users making
 up for the other half.
 * The global Wiki Loves Monuments organizing team helps support Wiki Loves
Monuments organizers around the world, providing replication opportunities
via direct support. This makes it easier for someone to organize their own
 Wiki Loves Monuments contest.

Questions are welcomed and encouraged on the talk page.

On behalf of the Program Evaluation team,

 LiAnna

That said, I'm quite suprised to see how low on the Foundation's list of

It sounds to me like a scheduling mismatch between competing

Are there any WLM-loving developers outside of the staff who might
