I truly hope that using a different communication format is helpful for at
least some of you.

You will also note that the video is recorded in Russian (with English
subtitles) and you might.be wondering why.
First of all, we would like to support linguistic diversity in
conversations during the transition and we are committed to continue
working on creating pathways for people to enter the discussions in a range
of languages. it seemed that a message in language other than English would
convey that message and our intention well.
Secondly, last weekend the Russian community held its annual conference
[1], next weekend there will be a virtual convening of Central and Eastern
European Wikimedians [2]. (In the CEE region Russian is rather widely
spoken and sometimes even used as a common language) In this context
choosing Russian felt like a highly relevant option. I hope it makes sense.

about Movement Strategy.

Conversations are under way on what initiatives from the recommendations
should be prioritized for implementation in 2021, and how to prepare for
