Bulk image uploads can be done on the server side using importImages.php: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:ImportImages.php You just have to provide a .txt file for each image giving its image description, i.e. 650 .txt files. Also the files have to be named appropriately, preferably with a prefix to avoid conflicts with existing file names. If you have a zip file in that form, then you can file a shell request in bugzilla.wikimedia.org for it to be imported. Alternatively you can use Commonist or some other automated client. -- Tim Starling ___ Wikimediaau-l mailing list Wikimediaau-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediaau-l

I bet I could fix it in under 5 minutes if I had shell access. -- Tim Starling Brianna Laugher wrote: Hello, I'm afraid you'll just have to be annoyed a while longer, because our tech resources are limited, and if I gave an ETA, I would just be making it up, so I won't. More important priorities include 1) Setting up donations software 2) Continuing migrating services from our existing ($) server on to our new (free) server 3) Setting up new membership software, migrating existing data to that It is possible (even probable I hope) that the history tab problem may be fixed by the migration itself. regards Brianna 2009/11/30 private musings thepmacco...@gmail.com: Hello, post AGM I (and others) have inspired a flurry of activity on the the official wiki, and I was just trying again to hop into the 'history' section of a page, which I know most are aware is broken at the moment. I think this was mentioned yesterday in passing, but I'm afraid I missed it, so could we get an eta on fixing up the wiki so it works proper :-) (doesn't matter to me how long it takes, but not knowing is annoying!) cheers, Peter, PM. ___ Wikimediaau-l mailing list Wikimediaau-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediaau-l ___ Wikimediaau-l mailing list Wikimediaau-l@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediaau-l
