If anyone is wondering, the page in question is here [1]. Well, it won't be destroyed - it has to be kept in case HMRC decide to do an audit. There is a very small link at the very bottom of the page to the privacy policy [2] - it wouldn't hurt to link to it somewhere more prominently. 1. http://donate.wikimedia.org.uk/thanks-gift-aid 2. http://uk.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia:Privacy_policy ___ Wikimedia UK mailing list wikimediau...@wikimedia.org http://mail.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikimediauk-l WMUK: http://uk.wikimedia.org
[Wikimediauk-l] Thanks-Gift-Aid page
Hey all. Perhaps it would be worth some clarifying the Thanks-Gift-Aid page to the extent that (with the exception of email address) all fields are necessary for the purpose of claiming GiftAid, and/or that the information provided will only be used for that purpose and then destroyed (or whatever the reality of the matter is).
