Re: [Wikimediauk-l] UK railway station codes

2018-05-01 Thread Deryck Chan
Personally I would've preferred to use P296 (station code) + P972 (catalog)
which would've dealt with the problem of London Underground and National
Rail having different station codes in some cases. But bespoke properties
for specific catalogs aren't a bad thing either...

Re: [Wikimediauk-l] ?==?utf-8?q? Wikipedia language conference

2018-05-01 Thread Jason J . Evans
Hi Doug,

I am working on a draft program at the moment, however the first day of the
conference will probably be your best bet if you are pushed. Day 2 will be an
un-conferenced day, apart from closing remarks and a presentation by the
National Librarian. All other talks and pre planned workshops will take place
on the first day.

Best

Jason

Hi Jason,

Do you have an outline programme yet? It may be that I can only make one of the
two days, and in that case, it would help to have an idea of which day would be
most interesting for me.

Cheers

[Wikimediauk-l] Wikipedia language conference

2018-05-01 Thread Jason Evans

Hello everyone.

Interested in supporting small and minority language Wikipedias?
Developing Wikidata and tools in your language? or using Wikipedia as an
educational tool to promote the use of your language? Well, these are
just some of the themes we will explore at the Celtic Knot 2018
Wikipedia languages conference in Wales.

*Tickets are now on sale and we are inviting applications for travel
scholarships*

Please spread the word and help us make the conference a success!

Thanks!
