[Wikitech-ambassadors] Guided Tours enabled on more wikis
Hi all, This is just a quick announcement that today we enabled the Guided Tours extension on the following Wikipedias: fawiki (Persian), astwiki (Asturian), and ruwiki (Russian). I'll also be posting to those wikis directly but wanted to send out a note here. -- Steven Walling, Product Manager https://wikimediafoundation.org/ ___ Wikitech-ambassadors mailing list Wikitech-ambassadors@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitech-ambassadors

As long as most (preferably all) of the strings for Guided Tour are translated via translatewiki.net, we can enable the feature. Once that's done, feel free to just email me or file a request in Bugzilla.[1] 1. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug -- Steven Walling, Product Manager https://wikimediafoundation.org/ ___ Wikitech-ambassadors mailing list Wikitech-ambassadors@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitech-ambassadors

We can enable all of the newly-translated wikis in about two weeks. I'll let you all know via this list when we pick an exact date. :) Normally we could just do this next week right away, but there is a freeze on new software deployments since one day is a holiday in the U.S. and there are two days where many people will be at the MediaWiki architecture summit. -- Steven Walling, Product Manager https://wikimediafoundation.org/ ___ Wikitech-ambassadors mailing list Wikitech-ambassadors@lists.wikimedia.org https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/wikitech-ambassadors
