[Wikitech-l] flake8 python linter updated

Hello,

If you are using the python linter "flake8", a new version has been
released today.

If your dependency is unbound, CI will pick up the new version (3.6.0)
which will most probably report new errors and breaks the build.

You can either fix the lint issues, or set an upper bound to the version
with:

 flake8<=3.6.0

Hi all,

We wanted to give a quick update on the happenings going on at the Wikimedia
Technical Conference
 from
the first two days.

*Monday
,
October 22, 2018:*
We started off with a keynote presentation by Victoria Coleman, Wikimedia
CTO (slides

and then after a quick break, we jumped into several presentations centered
around the Product Vision for WMF/WMDE (notes

first 3 presentations):

   - Lydia Pintscher, Product Manager WMDE (slides

   - Cindy Cicalese, Sr Product Manager, WMF (no slides)
   - Corey Floyd, Engineering Director, gave a Process and Action

Afternoon sessions included:
Product Vision Station Rotation 
where we had 8 tables that all attendees rotated though to learn more about
various topics and ask questions of Product Managers:

Then, a few breakout sessions
