[Wikitech-l] Erasing old file versions?
Hello, I have a wiki where bots are uploading new versions of local file once in a while, slowly making the file archive bigger and bigger. Has anyone seen a maintenance script (or is there a simple way) to remove all old verisons of files? The old versions are of no use to the end users, and there are no licenses that require me to keep them (normal users use files from Commons), so they are really just a waste of space. (I have used it for that purpose myself once or twice.) Yep, you're looking for the deleteArchivedFiles and deleteArchivedRevisions maintenance scripts (both of which can be found in the 'maintenance' directory).
