A popular enough topic that Google found "13 Best jQuery 360 Degree Image
Rotation Plugins" [1] :-)
I don't think there's a ResourceLoader module for this already in
core/resources; maybe some wiki already has a user script.

Cool! This sort of thing can definitely be rigged up with some JavaScript,
with a fallback to showing just one base image.
