Could you run Wine with gdb and in Synchronous mode and attach to the bug report you will raise ( :-) ) or by private mailing me all the information you could obtain at the moment of the crash (ie where it crashes, the value of the display variable, ...). Hello, it seems that this patch introduced a nasty bug (at least for me). With "DesktopDoubleBuffered" = "N" wine get's a SIGSEGV, tries to start the debugger, next SIGSEGV looping forever. The SIGSEGV happens in DefaultScreenOfDisplay (X function) called from X11DRV_GDI_Initialize and that one is called by process_attach (x11drv_main.c) . Setting "DesktopDoubleBuffered" = "Y" 'fixes' the bug. Any idea? bye michael P.S.: i'll open a bug report but at the moment i'm too tired.
