I don't see any problem in translating it, I'd rather read all news in
native language. If the person does not know english he/she can at
least understand what was it about and maybe contact friends to help
translating.

I though about that, but ended up deciding that it should be translated for
coherence as everything in the page is in portuguese too. Luckily I
resisted the urge to translate the wiki page :)
