My guess is that the same rule applies as for the Win9x test "hacks": Only remove when the culprit code is changed anyway. bye michael

I don't think we are going to bother setting up NT4 on the new testbot, it's no longer worth the trouble. -- Alexandre Julliard julli...@winehq.org

IIRC Alexandre stated some time ago (on IRC?) that the NT 4 support would/could be "removed" once the new testbot infrastructure is in place. Just my 2 ¢ Frédéric

I haven't heard about NT4 been taking out of the requirement. I guess the NT4 machines are offline due to the transition to the new testbot (newtestbot.winehq.org). Hopefully the machines are working again on one of the testbots soon, let's wait a bit. With the upcoming code freeze i'd say we need them. maybe someone else can tell more.
testbot and NT4
Hiya, Its been a while since I did some cmd work and noticed there were some new bugs so am doing some fiddling. The real pain for me was always keeping the tests passing on nt4, so I noted with relief/surprise that the testbot doesnt have an NT4 VM anymore. Is it correct that there is no longer a requirement for tests to pass on NT4 for submission (if it's required, I really need a nt4 testbot!) If not, is there any objection to removing the numerous hacks in the test suite so they run on NT4? Thanks, Jason
