Potremmo pianificare un altra scrematura dei nodi potenziali come
abbiamo fatto nel 2011/2012.

Eviterei di farlo adesso (Luglio/Agosto) però.

E' inutile tenere dei nodi potenziali che magari sono stati dimenticati dai 
proprietari

Qui Ilario di NinuxVerona :)
Come hai già capito guardando il mapserver [1] ci sono i nodi arancioni
cioè persone interessate a partecipare ma che non hanno ancora una
antenna accesa e nodi verdi/blu che sono nodi attivi. I nodi attivi più
vicini a te sono troppo lontani per un collegamento diretto, stanno a
Verona [2], Cornedo Vicentino [3], Bologna [4], Udine [5]; dunque a
Padova c'è da iniziare una nuova isola Ninux!!
Tempo fa avevamo notato un sito di NinuxPadova, aggiornato a febbraio,
prova a contattare pure il tizio che l'ha fatto [6].
Come ti scriveva Fabio, anch'io ti consiglio di contattare tutti i nodi
potenziali vicini a te tramite il mapserver.
Prova pure a contattare la gente del BioSLab [7] di Padova, mi pare
fossero interessati.
Se riesci poi ad essere all'End Summer Camp [8] di Venezia dovremmo
esserci (almeno io) per fare una presentazione lampo (18') su cos'è Ninux.

Package feed reorganization
For quite a while already we are not very satisfied with the quality
of the packages-feed. To address this, we decided to do a fresh start
on GitHub. The new feed https://github.com/openwrt/packages should be
used from now on and package maintainers are asked to move their
packages there. For the final release we will still build the old
packages feed but it will be necessary to enable it manually in the
opkg package list to be usable. All current feeds should not have any
dependencies on the old.packages feed. Currently a few packages still
fail, mainly due to these cross feed dependencies. We will contact the
respective maintainers to help resolve these issues for RC2.


New build servers
We would like to express our gratitude to Imagination Technology for
funding the 2 build servers that we used for the release.


Whats next ?
We aim at releasing Chaos Calmer (CC) before the end of the year. The
CC release will use 3.14 or a newer LTS kernel as baseline.

La procedura è più o meno questa:

si manda una mail a tutti i nodi potenziali invitandoli a mettersi in
contatto con noi o con i propri vicini per realizzare i loro nodi.

Gli si dice che qualora non siano più interessati al progetto gli
consigliamo di rimuoversi per non ricevere altre seccature.

Inoltre, le email che tornano indietro si segnano e si cancellano
direttamente i nodi.

rete?Qui non abbiamo ADSL di nessun tipo a parte qualche rete wifi a pagamento 
e costosa.

Puoi dare una dimostrazione ai tuoi vicini di cosa e' una rete
comunitaria tirand su un nodo e dei servizi che facciano capire cosa
si puo' fare in una WCN: una bacheca comunitaria, un file server, una
chat o semplicemente pubblicare i dati di una stazione meteo: tutto
questo non ha bisogno di internet per funzionare.
Spesso si fanno passare queste informazioni tramite internet perche'
non esiste un'infrastruttura alternativa e Ninux e' proprio il
tentativo di costruire questa alternativa.

In questo caso devi essere tu ad attivarti per primo, non solo nel senso
di rendere il nodo verde e disponibile al collegamento.
Si tratta soprattutto del fatto che devi coinvolgere chi conosci, chi
può essere interessato ad un concetto di rete come Ninux.
Creare il primo nucleo di community.

Ninux non è il collegamento VPN che tramite Internet ti collega alle
altre isole dove ci sono 300 Ninuxer che non conosci.
È lo stupido link da balcone a balcone di 200 mt che avete tirato su
assieme al vicino di casa che s'è entusiasmato pure lui, Ninux.

Quindi, se il nodo attivo più vicino è a 200km, fai community
cominciando con la porta accanto ;)

PS: 200km non è neanche una distanza così alta, in 2 ore di macchina
puoi visitare il gruppo più vicino per imparare qualcosa di nuovo. Pensa
a chi ha iniziato stando ad una distanza di 400 - 600 km.

Ciao a tutti e ad Antonio,

Pistoia proprio no però tempo fa ci contattò a noi di Firenze qualcuno di 
Serravalle.

Allora (un anno fa?) non ne facemmo niente perché anche qui eravamo proprio 
agli inizi però forse c'è ancora il nodo potenziale. Adesso non posso 
controllare perché ho una connessione lentissima.

Al limite intanto comincia a venire da noi a Firenze che almeno vedi quello che 
stiamo facendo noi, si fanno due chiacchiere e ti si fa coraggio :)
