[WISPA] Help for New Pekin, Indiana
Hi All, One of our customers (Telemedia Solutions) is located in one of the hardest hit areas hit by the tornados in southern Indiana. They are all fine, but a number of people in their community have lost everything. I asked Charlie how I might donate to these folks and he gave me the church below that has set up a fund. Then I thought that Wispa folks might be interested in helping too, thus my email. I spoke to the church. They don't have anything up on their website yet, but they told me that 100% of whatever is taken in will go to help these people. They are collecting to get a couple of cars (theirs were lost) along with things like tarps, bedding, etc. Here is the contact info if you'd like to help. At this point, you'll need to mail a check. [WISPA] Looking for Service
I need to find a provider in or near Lake Panasoffkee, FL. My client is willing to build a tower of up to 70ft or so if needed. We are looking for 5-10Mb/sec. Anyone out there who can help? ___ Wireless mailing list Wireless@wispa.org http://lists.wispa.org/mailman/listinfo/wireless
[WISPA] Remote Access
We've currently got a customer using the a sonicwall SSL VPN Netextender to VPN into their internal network. However, Lately it hasn't been working to well for them. And they are getting a few mac's in the mix these days. And sonicwall says the software doesn't work with macs and there is no plan to. Now, I know I could do this with a simple mikrotik router and PPTP as pretty much everything under the sun supports pptp. But we were looking for something that might be a little more user friendly. Anyone have any suggestions. The customer is just looking to gain internal access for things like windows filesharing..exchange..etc.. in a secure fashion. How is pptp not user friendly? Looks clean in Windows. Re: [WISPA] Remote Access
If they have a OSX server or Linux server, the Apples could just use a simple SSH Tunnel. A little AppleScript setup and it's just a click for the user. Sincerely, Eric Tykwinski TrueNet, Inc.
