Management vlan only implemented on the cpe wan interface. It is segmented
from the customer vlan. Inter-vlan traffic is firewalled. This offers full
broadcast domain separation and control.

[WISPA] Management VLAN Benefits

For those of you using management VLAN for infrastructure (AP/CPE/etc), how
is this better than just using private IP (RFC1918) and firewalling at tower
router?

How do you implement the management VLAN to keep customers from accessing
the equipment?

Currently use Tower Router-->Tower Switch-->AP (Bridge Mode w/ RFC 1918
Address)-->CPE (NAT Router Mode w/ Public IP Address)
