Re: [WISPA] Has the guy who invented the u.fl connector been lynched yet?
Yep, we use 411ah and each antenna has it's own box. If we have a problem, we swap out the box and work on it in the warm cozy shop. In mosts cases it is faster and easier to change out the box. Re: [WISPA] Net Neutrality
$600/mth for 100/100M in the US and EU on a 1GB port. $7/M if you burst over 100M. Basically you get $6/M for committed bandwidth and $7/M over commitment. If any of yawl want to send me your address off-list, I will see where the nearest POP is. My house is 33 miles from the data center and loop on fiber is $1700/mth. Re: [WISPA] tower fix possible?
Shouldn't be a problem if you have a crane and it is only 40'. If it was my tower I would just split a piece of pipe, weld it around it to reinforce it and then use my jin pole to bring it down and replace that section. Better check the bottom to make sure it isn't rusted out from the water in it. Re: [WISPA] Mikrotik FCC
We have a number of FCC certified Mikrotik systems (not all on the site yet). We also have been through the approval process with the RUS for one of our customers to get reimbursed for Mikrotik products that we sold them. We are also an approved contractor for installation of the gear. I have a copy of the approval letter from the RUS and the customer has been reimbursed for the gear and installation. We must sell complete systems with antennas using the components that are certified as a system and label them in our shop only after testing.
