Interesting.
Why a Cable Co would want to fund a network to compete against themselves
doesn't make sense to me.
To me sounds like more Sprint publicity stockmarket games, that will never
materialize.
The enticement is probably with false expactations, considering a Wimax
network would never deliver the capacity inline with a Video company's
strategic goals.
Although, it would be a way to hit back hard to ATT and Verizon, and the
many WISPs that are growing to a level that possibly could be getting
annoying to Cable Cos..
What it does say to me is that Sprint/Clearwire is running out of options to
find someone large enough and willing to fund their burn rate.
