Re: [WISPA] star os help
Thanks John! I think I'm good though. We'll know more in a couple of days. It's amazing how much damage one customer can do when you aren't looking at things. It's also amazing how much damage these networks will tolerate. laters, marlon - Original Message - From: "John Valenti" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "WISPA General List" Sent: Thursday, October 30, 2008 9:31 AM Subject: Re: [WISPA] star os help > hi Marlon, > > I don't know of any paid StarOS consultants. Re: [WISPA] star os help
Had a call from Justin at Unwired West this am. I think we're in good shape. Stupid me, I forgot to even look for the simple stuff. This site is always picking up nasty interference and I had changed out 2 other ap's recently. If I'd have looked at my usage graphs I'd have seen that someone picked up a virus or something this last Sunday afternoon. They burnt through 90 gigs of traffic since then. Blocked the customer and everyone else seems to be fine now. Thanks again Justin! marlon - Original Message - From: "3-dB Networks" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "'WISPA General List'" Sent: Thursday, October 30, 2008 9:05 AM Subject: Re: [WISPA] star os help > Marlon... call Matt Larsen. Re: [WISPA] star os help
hi Marlon, I don't know of any paid StarOS consultants. (I get most of my ideas from the StarOS forum at www.staros.com) Are both ends StarOS? If so, I would be happy to look at it for you for free. (but I would only grade myself B based on my two years of using staros -- there are several very sharp people on the forum) If only one end is StarOS, I would still look at it, but am less confident of my abilities. -John Maple River Networks Laingsburg Michigan PS - thanks for your years of hard work supporting WISPs!
