It is strange. Now it works. Just for record: I am using wix 2.0.4423.0. I have downloaded Merge modules for Visual Studio Service Pack 5 from Microsoft. My wxs files and localization file are included in attachement. Few other msm files were merged without problem. Only with msvbvm60.msm was error. Thank you. S. Hello, old (non-msi based) setup has these lines in log: ... ACTION: SystemFile: C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\MSVBVM60.DLL (File currently on disk was already up to date) ... ACTION: DllSelfRegister: C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\MSVBVM60.DLL ... I added Merge and MergeRef element to my files fragment.wxs and main.wxs.
