Well, I am the upstream now ;-) See README.voins.

Tag "wdm-1.28" is the last release made by Alexey Voinov. In
"master" branch I have some work-in-progress cleanups and
improvements.

However, current code is a total mess. It was started as fork of
XDM somewhere in 2002... Now I am thinking about dropping
current code completely, take lxdm/lightdm/whatever sources and
just rewrite the UI using WINGs.

Debian 0.95.5

This patch includes the changes for the new debian package 0.95.5-1:

Changes are:

- New libwutil library, new version 3:
  - Updated debian/control file, replacing libwutil2 with libwutil3.
  - Files moved in debian folder:
- libwutil2.changelog-upstream -> libwutil3.changelog-upstream
- libwutil2.install -> libwutil3.install
  - Removed file libwutil2.symbols
  - New file libwutil3.symbols

- libtiff migrated from version 4 to version 5:
  * "Build-Depends: libtiff5-dev" in packages wmaker and libwraster3-dev,
since libtiff-dev introduces dependency to libtiff4 which is in oldlibs.

- Small changes:
  * Included the word "WindowMaker" in the wmaker package description,
to found it easily.

annoying multi-screen issue

2013-09-23 Thread Paul Harris
Hi guys,

I have trouble with multiple monitors,
to ensure I don't get stuck without any screens, I use nvidia-settings to
change my resolution.

But, Windowmaker doesn't notice the change in screen layout.
Instead, it seems I have to always use the menu to restart wmaker.

Is this something that could be fixed in the future?

cheers,
Paul

Yes. There's a solution for everything but death (and I am trying a
patch ;-) ).
