Interesting discussion, but it may be time to drew conclusions on the WSJT-X 
features point of view. 

1.   WSJT-X main target is to improve weak signal communication (minimum) 
information exchange.

2.   WSJT-X automatic sequencing should help user make QSOs, when protocol 
speed is challenging for human beings e.g. FT8 and FT4.

3.   WSJT-X should not replace operator and operator skills.

 

The last one means that operators should tolerate limitations such as false 
decodes and limitations how well external information (cty.dat) happens to 
identify country codes. (Support or non-support of special call signs belongs 
to that category, it has been another discussion.)

 

If additional help to users is wanted or needed e.g. to identify wrong call 
sign structures, false decodes and pirates, then that should be implemented 
outside WSJT-X in the same manner as e.g. JTAlert is done by other interested 
parties.
