Re: [wsjt-devel] Problem Runnin v 2.6.2 on virtual serial ports
Hello Mark, I am using microHAM 9.3.5 too and having no problems with WSJT-X 2.6.1 on Win 10 Guess the Com to Com, together with Eltima virtual com ports of microHAM, may be the culprit. 73's de OE1MWW Wolfgang Wednesday, March 22, 2023, 7:52:54 PM, you wrote: > After upgrading to WSKT-X V2.6.1 WSKT-X repeatedly disconnected from > virtual serial ports created by microHAM device router 9.3.5 and virtual > serial ports created by COM to COM > > I reverted WSJT-X back to v2.5.4 problem disappeared > > Anybody else see this? > > Mark > W7HPW > > Real Radios Glow in the Dark > -- under construction: https://www.oe1mww.work/___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel

Title: Re: [wsjt-devel] The #$&% Windows 10 audio issue, and a proposal Hello Fons, Sunday, January 16, 2022, 1:01:32 PM, you wrote: > But in this case the audio interface is used to transfer signals to/from the > rig, so why should it ever become 'unavailable' during operation ? as an example, you start WSJT-X and your screen with an built-in audio is already 'active. Windows 'enumerates' the audio channels. The screen is audio channel number '1' since power on, WSJT-X will be using audio channel '2'. Now your screen goes to sleep mode - audio channel number '1' is gone. In fact, there is now only one audio channel, but WSJT-X software, still in the settings after startup, want to use audio channel '2'. So the pointer for channel '2' (in the settings of WSJT-X) can not find any hardware = your rig is unavailable. 73 de Wolfgang OE1MWW -- under construction: https://www.oe1mww.work/ ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
