If you do not specify a key file, and wish to use auto-login, you need to load the key into an SSH agent like Pageant.exe from the PuTTY suite before starting X2GoClient (or actually, before double-clicking on the session tile). - -Stefan - -- BAUR-ITCS UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Geschäftsführer: Stefan Baur Eichenäckerweg 10, 89081 Ulm | Registergericht Ulm, HRB 724364 Fon/Fax 0731 40 34 66-36/-35 | USt-IdNr.: DE268653243 -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEbBAEBCAAGBQJVUh61AAoJEG7d9BjNvlEZuIAH9jvGCRFohZ39TV6svq/SoD9O N0A5NDstYM1Um+XSccX2TYcDmV2pgsxUQ9RVlrBBwijD+ekyvYYn63nJ8b8b6+Qx NP35K+f6K0nRdIndproa2iqhUk5t1Yx7guFijN+Gbch7/65Tb4L7qlxPhGgLwHfu swNqISaufub2Khueo42/YonkogUbb6ruwUqYMfpebUSkoNwnNcJTtvcJQ5zQdgMv hkTFNjuulHqnxOHBl7AYQa6FigyPy47nPKde5uhTvc+RFDhO5DQF74PvYFNjLFnR xjrGVfR3OJmjtK1L+hdsZrbAP2miHJqS00x2IxGzShAd+svdViymmqYk7jbKaA== =ZwdC -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org http://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
[X2Go-User] X2Go Client: Where to put RSA key for auto login on Windows
Hi List I'm trying to use the "Try auto login" feature on Windows, but it's not working (tested with X2Go Client 4.0.3.2). When connecting, I'm always asked for a password to open the key, but I actually didn't set any passphrase at all for my RSA key. I suspect that maybe X2Go Client does not even find the key. Which is the right location to put my RSA key in? Does X2Go Client consider any environment variables? (When I enter the actual path to the key in the "Use RSA/DAS key for ssh connection" field and unset the auto login option, the connection works.) Thanks a lot for your help. I'll undo that in a bit and see if it fixes sound on the server, but X2Go client is working fine, sound included, on Ubuntu 15.04. as X2Go Server does not require any hardware driver, Kernel mod loading failures should not be a problem at all. Re: [X2Go-User] [X2Go-Dev] Last Call! X2Go: The Gathering 2015, Registration ends in one week from today!
Messed with the server a bit, since it's headless, I can't tell if audio is working locally or not (that and the fact that it's 21 miles from where I am), but what I'm getting when I use x2go to connect to Ubuntu 15.04 using the Mate desktop, the volume control is gone, and if I bring one up, it says it's waiting to connect to pulseaudio and waits forever. I do not know if this is because I'm accessing with x2go or it's just broken on the server. My workstation with 15.04 is working fine locally. I've reinstalled pulseaudio and alsa-base, and done a force-reload with alsa, it gives no errors. I installed the x2go software from the nightly build, no change in behavior. Strangely, when I tried to install with apt-get a bunch of stuff was held back, but synaptic installed it. I'm burned out for the night, need sleep, passing out between commands. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- Eskimo North Linux Friendly Internet Access, Shell Accounts, and Hosting. If 15.05 ships libpulse-6 and you're using the release build of X2Go Client, that's broken. As a workaround, please try the nightly builds.
