Re: [X2Go-User] Different sessions for same user on server
Hi Stefan, Thank you for suggestion - this option is exactly what I am looking for! Could you please advise, if it's available somewhere via client preferences in UI? Of course I can create custom .desktop file so that user can run x2go via it, but it'd be way easier just to provide instructions what menu to open and what checkbox/parameter to set :). So far I failed to find anything relevant in client settings as well as in session settings. чт, 30 мая 2019 г. в 11:31, Dmitry Pavlov : > Thank you, I'll try check this option > > ср, 29 мая 2019 г. в 13:01, : > >> Date: Wed, 29 May 2019 10:18:49 +0200 >> From: Stefan Baur >> To: x2go-user@lists.x2go.org >> Subject: Re: [X2Go-User] Different sessions for same user on server >> Message-ID: <6038eb44-cc6f-ddef-bf0e-c85654cd4...@baur-itcs.de> >> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 >> >> Am 29.05.19 um 10:05 schrieb Dmitry Pavlov: >> > Context. [X2Go-User] Different sessions for same user on server
Hello, Context. I have x2go server and different machines from which user connect to it (e.g. laptop and home pc). To connect same user on server is used and right now connection to same session is always done, i.e. if remote session is established from laptop, then x2go window was closed, then same desktop state is opened when connecting from home pc. Is it possible to adjust current behavior to have different remote sessions for different connections? Due to some issues with UI representation (different remote screen resolution, gnome menus change themes), current "one user - one session" mode works bad. I've seen mentions about session selection list on desktop sharing wiki page (https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:usage:desktop-sharing?s[]=sharing) but did not get so far how to apply this for regular connections. -- Regards Dmitry Pavlov ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org https://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
