Re: [X2Go-User] Printing remotely
It does work for 5 out of 6 staff members. The one which printing doesn't work is the one where his remote 'spool' directory isn't getting mounted. [X2Go-User] Printing remotely
I'm having problems printing remotely using x2goserver-printing + cups-x2go. I've enabled printing on the client side, then connected to my Debian 8 server via X2go. I've installed x2goserver-printing + cups-x2go on the server and restarted cups. When I try and send a test print from the server to my home printer, it doesn't work. Nothing is in the spool directory. It doesn't seem to ever reach the otherside. What should I do? from Michael ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org https://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
[X2Go-User] TCE client resolution
I'm running an Intel D510MO with Intel graphics chipset as my x2go thin clients. When I start my session and set my display to 1920x1080 for the 24" screen I notice that a lot of the screen is hidden off the sides and top and bottom of the screen. I'm missing a good 100px right around. Here is my sessions file; [2013061918075] speed=4 pack=16m-jpeg quality=9 fstunnel=true export= iconvto=UTF-8 iconvfrom=ISO8859-1 useiconv=false fullscreen=true width=1920 multidisp=false display=3 height=1080 dpi=96 setdpi=false xinerama=true usekbd=true layout=us type=pc105/us sound=true soundsystem=pulse startsoundsystem=true soundtunnel=true defsndport=true sndport=4713 print=true name=myserver icon= host=192.168.0.4 user= key= sshport=22 autologin=false krblogin=false rootless=false published=false applications=WWWBROWSER, MAILCLIENT, OFFICE, TERMINAL, startxfce4, xfce4-session, /usr/bin/openbox command=XFCE rdpoptions= rdpserver= xdmcpserver=localhost maxdim=false rdpclient=rdesktop directrdpsettings= rdpport=3389 directrdp=false usesshproxy=false sshproxytype=SSH sshproxyuser= sshproxykeyfile= sshproxyhost= sshproxyport=22 sshproxysamepass=false sshproxysameuser=false sshproxyautologin=false krbdelegation=false sshproxykrblogin=false clipboard=both If I set the resolution to 1280x1080 it fits ok, but as it's the wrong ratio for the screen it looks a little funny and I would prefer 1920x1080 if possible. I've been happy using this client in 1920x1080 as a LTSP thin client so I know it all works from Michael ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org http://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
[X2Go-User] TCE install a new kernel
I've just installed the Thin Client Environment on a separate Debian VM and some of my clients boot. Some need a more up to date kernel than 3.2, I would like to use the 3.16 kernel from backports under Debian Wheezy. I've installed the 3.16 in the chroot environment and ran the x2go update script, but my thin clients still boot with the 3.2. Is there something else I have to do? Here is the list of commands I did; Go into chroot environment : x2gothinclient_shell Install latest kernel 3.16 : apt-get -t wheezy-backports install linux-headers-3.16.0-0.bpo.4-amd64 linux-headers-3.16.0-0.bpo.4-common linux-image-3.16.0-0.bpo.4-amd64 Exit chroot environment and update : exit : sudo x2gothinclient_update from Michael ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org http://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user
