[Xastir] Where in code is mesoscale, svt tsm watch and tornado watch boxes processed?

2008-05-25 Thread Richard Polivka, N6NKO
I am trying to mod the code to use festival in a more descriptive way. I
just need to know where the above is processed at to add the appropriate
hooks.

If you have any maps chosen that are automatically refreshed (e.g. one of the
on-line weather maps), then this behavior is normal and can be stopped by
un-choosing the map that gets refreshed. If you have only local maps chosen,
it is not normal.

Check your selected maps. If any one of them is an online map, check the
associated ".geo" file to see if it's got a REFRESH line. If so, that's the
cause.

[Xastir] Maps reloading

2008-05-25 Thread Massimo Corinaldesi
Running Xastir v. 1.9.2 on Mandriva Linux 2008.0  .

I see maps are reloaded during normal operation, not only at the startup. The
reloading works also when the maps visualization is not changed during the
time.

It is a bit annoying as the process takes long time, so I ask if that
behaviour is normal, or I can stop it from somewhere.

Thanks.
