I don't think a local copy would be necessary. Everything will be
available in old branches.

There are lots of small repositories on xenbits.xen.org. Why not
move the drivers to a new one if you want to keep it?

Right. Windows pv drivers have their repositories, too.

Having a separate repo for these few files would seem overkill to
me. As to deleting them - I'd prefer them to still stay around for a
little while, but of course if everyone wants them gone I can do
with keeping a local copy somewhere.

them to not necessarily stay there alone.
