[XeTeX] xetex (texlive 2010 pretest) keeps crashing on vista home premium

Hi! all,

On my friend's Vista home premium (32bit) machine, xetex (texlive 2010
pretest) keeps crashing.

Windows reports "xdvipdfmx.exe has stopped working" together with the
following log:

Thanks. I had installed the ubuntu packages, thereafter I installed
texlive. Maybe I didn't set up the path properly.

Was amazed because this was not the case with my desktop. When
compiling on my desktop, it seemed fine. Today I compiled with my
laptop, and I experianced these problems.

This was a problem with old versions of bidi and it is fixed now. From the
properties of your PDF document, I can see that you are using version 1.0.3
of bidi package which is 10 versions old. The current version of bidi is
1.1.4.
