It means that you can't use this font without changing it. Search
the list archive for "seac":

Most probably it is a type1 fonts (.pfb). You can try to add
\XeTeXtracingfonts=1 at the begin of the document. Then the log-file
will show you the actual file names and the font formats.

Or simply put \end{document} in the middle of the font tests and
then move it around until the culprit is found.

Error 256 (driver return code) generating output;

I dont fully understand this message.
I am not able to identify which font create the bug.
I join the log file.

Apologies for the spurious blank lines in the
preceding; I accidentally had "Format mails in
HTML" enabled. Now turned off, and re-attached.

\documentclass {article}
\usepackage {fontspec}

\long \def \SelectFont #1%
{
\par
\fontspec {Arial}\leftline {#1 :}
\noindent \fontspec {#1}%
}

\begin {document}
\SelectFont {Arial} abc \SelectFont {Cambria} abc
\end {document}

Or perhaps, to get even closer to the desideratum :

\documentclass {article}

\usepackage {fontspec}

\long \def \SelectFont #1%

{

\par

\fontspec {Arial}\leftline {#1 :}

\noindent \fontspec {#1}%

}

\begin {document}

\SelectFont {Arial} abc \SelectFont {Cambria} abc

\end {document}

Assuming xelatex:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{fontspec}

\begin{document}
\fontspec{Arial} abc \fontspec{Cambria} abc
\end{document}

abcde

Is it possible to do this in a short way ?

If I understand you correctly, this will do:

%%%
\def\testtext{Whatever text you want to use...}
\def\testfont#1{%
  \font\temp="#1"
  \temp
  \vskip\baselineskip#1:\par
  \testtext
  }
%%%

Then: \testfont{Chaparral Pro} \testfont{cmr10}...

Best,
Paul
