[XFree86] (no subject)
Hi, I got this error while i tried to start my red hat linux 9.0. It says "_XSERVTransSocketINETCreateListener: ...SocketCreateListener() failed _XSERVTransMakeAllCOTServerListeners: server already running Fatal server error: Cannot establish any listening sockets - Make sure an X server isn't already running" I really don't know what to do to solve this problem. When i hit ctrl+alt+F7 in terminal, it goes to XWindow and shows and hourglass forever... I hope that you would be able to help me! I have 4.2.0 running on Slackware Linux 8.1. Whenever I try to use the moue in X, it always jumps around, usually to the nearest corner, and acts as if the left button is being held down. This isn't a very fancy mouse - an ordinary Logitech PS/2 optical. I've never seen this happen with other Linux distros or on different versions of Xfree86.
