[XFree86] second mouse logging

2005-01-13 Thread Richard Boegli
I have 2 mice setup under X, currently both control the cursor. What I
need is for the second mouse's movements to be logged and not control
the cursor. I am using a USB and PS2 mouse. The PS2 is the one to be
logged.

Thanks

[XFree86] USB Mouse Problem

2005-01-13 Thread Maxime L'Homme

I have a embedded device that boot WITHOUT usb mouse/keyboard.

When I plug my mouse , X doesn't use it as core pointer.

If I switch to terminal (ctrl-alt-f1) and go back to X, it Works !!

My Xfree Config as the allowmouseopenfail option.

Input Device is set to /dev/input/mice and works fine if I plug the mouse before boot.
It even work if I plug the keyboard, boot the system and plug the mouse after !

XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1
Release Date: 9 May 2003

I noticed that my mousedev module as no Used by and is set to (unused) When i'm in X and after I plug the mouse.
lsmod :
Module Size Used by Tainted: P
keybdev 1696 0 (unused)
hid 20164 0 (unused)
mousedev 3832 0 (unused)
input 3040 0 (autoclean) [keybdev hid mousedev]
af_packet 11368 1 (autoclean)
usb-ohci 17704 0 (unused)
usbcore 55008 0 [hid usb-ohci]
rtc 5852 0 (autoclean)

When I switch back from terminal to X
lsmod :

Module Size Used by Tainted: P
keybdev 1696 0 (unused)
hid 20164 0 (unused)
mousedev 3832 1
input 3040 0 (autoclean) [keybdev hid mousedev]

Does any body could tell me what's happening when I swap from terminal to X ??
Thanks !

[XFree86] Can you imagine yourself 5 years from now?

2005-01-13 Thread Jocel Buniel
Greetings,

Several months ago my friends were rolling on the
floor laughing when I told them I was going to
build a profitable Internet business. Yeah fat
chance they all said since I had absolutely very
little computer skills and zero marketing
experience! (Hint, I still don't!)

Their laughter quickly turned to amazement after I
plugged into an established Internet based company
with a proven marketing system and running
the highest payout compensation plan with unlimited
and secured monthly residual income.

So what does this have to do with you?

Actually lots.

You could waste months (and thousands of dollars)
trying to figure out what really works on the
Internet. Or you could save yourself the
frustration, time and mistakes by following my
lead.

Thanks. A cursory read of the site would suggest that this is exactly what I'm
looking for. I'll look into it in some greater depth tomorrow (must sleep,
