Hello All, Just to understand the flow of Key Event, I added one Print Stat in some of the funtion in XKBBind.c file. Whenever I ran KDE Apps, like Kword, Kedit ..., Ctrl in coming inside the XkbTranslateKeySym function. When I ran Gnome Apps like Gedit, Ctrl is not coming inside the XkbTranslateKeySym function. But Chars are shown correctly in the App. >From where gnome will get the Char ? Is there any other methods avail in Xlib to do this job. [XFree86] Slow X strart up...
Hello All, 1. In my machine (MDK9, PIII 450, 128MB, i810), X (With out WM) startup is taking very long time ( nearly 2 min ). I am attechted the Log file. 2. Presently X is starting VT 7.
