RE: [XFree86] [XFree86 on Solaris/X86] (EE) GLINT(1): Cannot read V_BIOS(3)
I also noticed that you are loading the module LoadModule: "fbdev". Therefore you should (also) manually set your BusID in the Device section of your X config file. Do you have a section Option "UseFBDev" in your config? I am not sure what will happen in your specific case if you run x without FBDev, but you could also give that a try. If you don't have that option specified in your x config It will default as off. -M From: ASIF IQBAL [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, December 04, 2004 7:43 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: Michael Hamilton Subject: Re: [XFree86] [XFree86 on Solaris/X86] (EE) GLINT(1): Cannot read V_BIOS(3) Hello! Try finding all the things in your xlog file that come up as "(--) probed" and set them up manually in your X config.
