Thank you again Sergiu Floca Edit XF86Config(may have -4 on end). Check the Module section. If LoadModule type1 and LoadModule freetype are not present, add them. Next, find FontPath. It will have unix:/7100 the value. You will need to add the appropriate paths. The fonts are usually stored under /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts. Example from mine that you can edit as necessary: FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/ FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc/ FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/:unscaled FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/:unscaled FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/ FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/ FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/ FontPath /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/ From: George Socker [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [XFree86] Could not init font path element unix/:7100 -- Help me please !
