To Whom Among other cards that XFree86 version 4.3.0 pruports to support (and which are subsequently listed once the version is installed) the SiS300 video chip is mentioned.
Tho the installation of this version (on RH7.3) of XFree is not without error on my machine (apparently libglide2x.so is missing --?), tho other new drivers mentioned on the XFree86.org page do show up on the list of drivers, mention of the SiS300 (the card I have uses it...;] ) is missing. Is it *Really* not included (which means I have wasted several days ;P)? Please note: regardless of support, right now I cannot get even Xconfigurator (in setup util) to configure even a generic VGA card with my monitor!!!
