Making a few logical assumptions: The RPMs are used to install. They
are not needed to run the system.

Whether you delete them is entirely at your discretion.

[XFree86] files used by XFree86

2003-09-08 Thread Arnau Mir
Hello.

I want to know all the files used by my X server (fonts, modules, etc...)

I explain why. I have redhat 7.2 and I have the following rpm files:

XFree86-75dpi-fonts-4.1.0-25
XFree86-libs-4.1.0-25
XFree86-devel-4.1.0-25
XFree86-xdm-4.1.0-3
XFree86-100dpi-fonts-4.1.0-25
XFree86-ISO8859-15-100dpi-fonts-4.1.0-25
XFree86-tools-4.1.0-25
XFree86-xfs-4.1.0-25
XFree86-4.1.0-3
XFree86-compat-libs-4.0.3-2
XFree86-ISO8859-15-75dpi-fonts-4.1.0-25
XFree86-twm-4.1.0-25

I must to install XFree 4.2 because my graphic card wasn't supported by
XFree86-4.1.

I installed XFree 4.2 by using the binary format and the Xinstall.bin script.

My question is: Can I delete all above rpm files?

Thanks a lot,

Arnau.
