I would like to buy ATI JW RADEON 8500LE card but I have no experience with this card and Linux. I have standard RH7.3 (I did not customize the kernel) and XFree86 4.2. Do you have some experience with this card on specified configuration? I mean problems drivers, problems with performance, any other problems one would like to know before buying this gizmo. I do not need huge graphical power but I need DVI. The card is well supported by Linux, but you should rather targert for latest XFree86 beta which will become X4.3.0 in some two weeks or so.
